DustMagic offers a time-limited trial, a free single-image mode, and a $49/year licence that unlocks batch processing.
Licence Tiers
- Trial — full app for a limited period. Use this to evaluate.
- Free mode — single-image processing forever, at no cost. No batch.
- Licensed — adds Process Batch and priority support. $49/year, renewable.

Activate a Licence
If you’ve purchased a key, paste it into the activation dialog when DustMagic prompts you, or open the activation dialog later from the Help menu.
- Keys are case-sensitive — copy them straight from the purchase email.
- Activation requires an internet connection on first use.
Renewal
- You’ll get a renewal email before expiry.
- If your licence lapses, batch processing reverts to single-image free mode. Your installed app keeps working — only Process Batch is gated.
Troubleshooting
- “Invalid key” — re-copy from the email; trim whitespace.
- “Activation server unavailable” — check your internet connection or firewall; try again.
- Replaced your computer — use the original purchase email to retrieve your key. The licence travels with you.
For anything else, Help → Report a Problem → “Subscription or licence question” opens an email to support.
